In 2023 my writer and I were given a challenge: how do we celebrate Black History Month while also acknowledging the harm and injustice done to this community by the finance industry?
Enter: A Rich Legacy.
Knowing that Black Americans have made critical contributions to financial history that are often overlooked we leveraged our social platforms to showcase the achievements of Black bankers and financial thinkers, highlighting how these trailblazers are leading us to a brighter, richer tomorrow. We created posts, carousels, Reels, Stories, and TikToks highlighting these trailblazers and our associates, and prompting our audience to think about their legacies.
